Checkif the missing emails are present. If yes, select the emails then click the Recover deleted items option. Today I attempted to retrieve an email from a folder and the folder was empty; so were my other folders except for Deleted; Inbox; Junk and Sent. Access through Outlook.com, I presume. Ihave a similar problem: I'm missing "chunks" of emails when using Outlook.com. If I view my Hotmail on the Web I have 20 emails in my Inbox. Using have 7. The strange part: Those 7 constitute my 4 OLDEST emails and my 3 newest ones. There appears to be no way to view those in between. If I didn't have my Web access, I wouldn't Clickon New message, Attach, Browse cloud locations , Recent attachments, and scroll the list until you find the one you're missing. It seems that saving attachments to the cloud is a default feature in the Outlook app, so hopefully it was saved there. Hope this helps! IfI open it to read it, and then close it, it still shows in my Inbox, but if I refresh then it disappears. Only unread emails show. If I check All Mail it shows the read emails, and shows the tag "Inbox", so they are still there, but just not visible.
